So I got me a old RF Punch 75HD, and it "works" but has distorted sound on both right and left channel. This is a restore project for myself, and after poping it open, it has the dreaded capacitor leakage on the HB-PIM board (see pictures). Going to try calling Jason at Freemans tomorrow. Thought I would toss this up if anyone knows of another place to get that board, or if the schematics are out for the whole amp or at least that board. Any help on that board would be great, if I have to i will draw it out and make a new one, but anthing that would save time would be super!

The board is the same on 45hd, 75hd, 150hd, but not the 30hd. It had its own module that was completely different.
Jason should have them still, I think they were $40 shipped.
I would give you schematics for the main board and HBPIM board but my other computer is down.

seankane, if your hurting for funds to fix your computer, let me know, I might be able to hook you up with some parts for shipping cost to get you back up and running. Thanks for all you do on the forums!
Thank you, I appreciate your generosity. I have already ordered a new motherboard. It has not been shipped yet of course.
Well they are $45.00 shipped from Freeman's now. Thanks to Perry for the schematic, I will work on fixing the one I got and compare it to the "remanufactured" one from Freeman's.Test both in the amp, then work on a cheaper solution for the future. More to come.
If you collect the hd amps, make your own boards. Use through-hole parts for easier assembly. You can get boards for dirt-cheap from china. When I was interested in making boards (10 or more years ago), I used pcbfabexpress. The cost, initially seemed a bit higher than china but in the long-run, there wasn't much of a difference.
Subbed to this, I have the same issue with my 75HD. How do I go about getting in touch with Freeman's to purchase a board? Thanks
OK, so I am looking to make some of these boards, but in normal double sided copper PCB. Did Rockford make these with the ceramic boards for the heat dissipation? At the time they were made maybe so, but modern double sided PCB's are pretty good now. Thoughts before I pull the trigger on these. (P.S. $45 is way too high, gotta get the cost down this way or no one will ever want a HD amp fixed again).
There's no significant heat dissipation on the board.
Before you make the boards, make sure that you can find a header that fits.
