I have gotten a new driver card for the a punch 500-2. The amplifier is came out of was stuck in thermal protection. So I removed the diver card. When I placed it in the punch 500-2 same thing thermal protection light. So it must be something on the card. If anyone can let me know what causes this on these cards?

I figured out what happened, a RCA Jack broke off and fell onto the pcb, shorting onto r1002-r1000 it also hit and or burnt r1009, causing Q101 to burn and short. Possibly damaged a 393 or the tl494.
Find the remote and ground connections on the main board. USing jumper wires, connect those to a 12v source and ground. You can jump from the board but you don't need the main board right now.
Confirm that the 494 is operating and the 339s have supply voltage.
