Hey guys I have a punch 45 doesn't power up just makes a slight clicking sound when B+ & ground, remote are applied. LED is dim and pulses to the clicking sound. But if I short drain & source leg on MTP3055A amp will turn on and play but it skips. What do I check?

No it had both D44VH4 in place and both outputs I had removed them to check for any shorts. It wouldn't power up with all components installed still no power
Remove all output transistors and remove all solder, confirming with a meter that there are no shorts between pads.
Reinstall all power supply components.
Does the amp produce rail voltage?

I removed all 4 reinstalled everything except one D44 amp will now turn on with remote applied. Brown/yellow channel produces distorted audio. Orange/black has clear audio.
If I have one power supply transistor installed will that affect the output? Audio is still distorted from both channels.
I have never tried operating the power supply with only one transistor so I cannot tell you what to expect.
