Hey guys I have a chrome punch power 250.2 the problem is it had a channel that was shorted and had Dc on the output terminal. Only one IRF540 and IRF9540 were good only 4 were shorted to removed them and put in four used fets to test. It gave out audio but when volume was turned up amp kept skipping and would not play audio just a pulsing sound. The other channel appears to be fine. What should I check? It also shorted out the test transistors hence the cut legs.

Ok I got it to work I didn't bother to replace or check the other channel it played audio but would always mute or protect when turned past a certain volume. I changed both channels outputs and replaced one channel source resistors amp plays fine now no muting or cutting out. Do you by any chance have a source for IRF9640? They appear to be obsolete?
