Rockford Fosgate 501x

Hey guys it been awhile since I have been on this site. I had to shut down the repair shop for a while due to moving back and forth from Missouri to North Carolina and now back to Missouri. Anyways, enough with the sob story and down to my question.

I have a Rockford fosgate 501x 4 channel amp. I tested the powersupply chips and all the audio outputs and they checkout fine. I turned all the bias pots counterclockwise and adjusted them individually. At this point everything seems good. I apply a 100hz input signal and start checking the outputs and nothing. I adjust the gain and there is ac voltage for one sec then zero. The same for all 4 channels. I removed the input signal and checked for dc voltage on the outputs and boom I have approximately 27vdc on all 4 channels.
Any ideas?
Does this sound like a tl494 pwm issue?
Does this sound like a lm339 comparator issue?
any help would be appreciated
thanks, matt
