I have a Rockford T10001bd in for repair.
When powered, its a dead short on my powersupply. I have checked all the outputs and they have checked out fine. I have also checked out the powersupply Fets and seem to be okay also.
I have removed the outputs from the board and powered up the amp with same symptom. Dead short
Question 1. Should the amp power up with outputs removed or is this not possible?
Question 2. I found only one sign of visible damage and that was R50 which looked burnt but still measured 20ohms. i replaced it with a new one. the driver circuits tested fine but maybe i missed something.
Any ideas?
question 3. anyone have a schematic for T10001bd?
