Roberts preamp & APH 1100

I have a Roberts preamp & 2 Stromberg Carlson APH 1100's that I would like to modify into a hi-fi that would work with a turntable/tuner/CD player. All separate components. Would this be worth the effort? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I recapped the 1100's a few years ago but the preamp could probably use it.

I got two with changing the cap., but finally found the hum noise, as like 50Hz noise but in Hong Kong with 220/110 step down Xform.
Any possible advice on these finding ?
