Roar

If you line up the driver entry points and upstream TL length between them, at the high pressure points of the sound wave that resonates in the second resonator) it’s crazy!?!

This is a very potent/unique way of getting LOUD? ( But more like a science experiment than a great sounding subwoofer )

A folded Bose wave cannon does something very intersting if you connect a 3 meter pipe to a 1 meter pipe as well

I don’t really understand what happens as you diverge from those exact landmarks/nodes of sound waves that ‘fit’ in the pipe(s)?

Is that why the tapped horn shapes go crazy above the second resonace? The random reflections back into the pipe are super disorganized and not specifically supporting a resonace or extending the phase (by moving the driver entries further apart, like in the folded Bose wave cannon )

I can fix that squiggly junk in my folded Bose wave cannon by tweaking the length of the high tuned resonator , in much of the same way, I can reposition the driver offset in a transmission line to clean up that same junk? 1/3 from closed end or vent positioned at 3/1 between two pipes

That 2012 pattern kind of hints (the arrows) at adjusting things in this, or similar, ways?

If you don’t tune, your series tuned 1/4 wave resonators at 2:1 the drivers not loaded on both sides with pressure (like the folded Bose wave cannon does)?

However, the upstream ‘pipe’ and second ‘pipe’ share the same ‘harmonic’ (I don’t know if that works, however? Because you can’t have pressure at the exit, it has to be velocity @ resonace ? It gets really ‘loud’ there too (green SPL graph verses white shows the added big 66.66cm long resonator)

200 cm into 133.33 cm (with respect to the actual end corrections on either of those pipes, and sine wavelegths/shapes, instead of this oversimplified math exercise I’m jerking off to)

This actually works in the whole pipe as a resonance

I’m dumb.. a 200 cm pipe dumping into a 40 cm resonator shares the 1/5 resonace. But this is high-frequency junk. I don’t want coming out of my subwoofer regardless.
