Farewell, Larry Coryell - The Hindu

Maybe not hugely known name here, but definitely another huge talent some will dearly miss, and certainly deserving of some digging through your archives or streaming from you-tube .

The gentleman could play notes you didn't even know where there

Wow, another one lost. While I wasn't a fan, a personal friend of mine in the mid seventies Vic Juris was and even got to work with him. I haven't seen him in years but I'll bet he's bummed out learning this.

Aw crap! This is sad news. I love Larry. Have most of his albums. A phenomenal guitarist. Some of his work is out there, but overall a tremendous player. He will be missed.

Whoa! I hadn't heard. I'm a big fusion fan, and Larry Coryell was my favorite jazz guitarist. RIP
