Oh wow my favorite organ master. Still remember a show he did in hartford a few years ago blew me away. I agree way too young .

I saw him play at the Blue Note in Tokyo. Fantastic sound from the organ and my youngest son, who used to play the bass remarked on how good his bass lines were.

Yes, I saw him with Pat Martino, no bass guitar. Its was the same personnel on Live at Yoshi's. Fantastic Album btw.

Thanks rayma for posting the vids. Just watched the Rockport jazz fest gig all the way thru. Couldn't stop! Joey was such a bright light and man could he swing.
