I think this is the right forum to introduce
a ribbon planar speaker developed by myself.
In the bookshelf speaker shown it is crossed
over at 950 Hz, fs is about 400 Hz.
The Project is from 2002/2003. Currently i am
developing a new transformer for the tweeter.
The Tweeter could radiate as a dipole, but in the
box shown it has an own compartment about
2 liters.

What did you use for the ribbon?
How did you prepare the ribbon surface? (flat, corrugated?)
What did you use for magnets?
can you post the frequency response anechoic, on axis and off?
SPL/1w/1m?
What is the nominal input Z?

Currently no frequency response available.
Sensitivity is rather low (approx 84 db) but depends on
transformer used. High sensitivity was not a goal for
that bookshelf design.
Transformer is redesigned in the next future to
make the tweeter suitable for other projects.
Resistance at ribbon clamps approx. 0.01 Ohm
Magnet NeFeB .
