I thought I would share my pics of my latest 40" ribbon build.

Raw materials ETC

18mm wide 5 segment 40" long

Neo magnets 55 x 20 x 6mm.

Pole pieces 20 x 20mm solid

I see you've got multiple conductors looping through the gap. Will impedance be high enough that you can do without a transformer?

Very cool, Africa. If you can, please share info/pictures on the materials and procedures. If impedance is posing a problem, it shouldn't be very expensive to add a ready-made transformer.

Hello, the impedance measures about 6 ohms so there is no need for a transformer.

I cut my ribbons with a rotary cutter laminated with mylar using 3m 77 to laminate.
