Revox B226-S CD player jumps tracks. The repair shop says that the problem is the power supply board. My question is whether B226 and B226-S share the same power supply board. Any other models which use the same power supply board?

Does anybody have a suitable working power supply board for sale?

The psu in the Revox B226-S can cause some interesting faults for example the drawer juddering on opening/closing.

I have 2 B226-s and 2 B226 plus several B126.

The PSU board from a B126 will operate the B226 (without the volume control).

It's quite easy to rebuild the psu section and this is probably the best bet.

Capacitors

I recommend to change the capacitors. I have seen very bad capacitors in these old but very good CDplayers. Also the capacitors on de CD drive (see nanocamp audio instructions on the Revox B225.
