I would like to share my test on the RCF ND850 2" compression driver. The results are pretty good when used as a midrange.
Distortion @85dB SPL 1m, 1kHz...
H2: 0.056% 😳
H3: 0.024%
H4: 0.0072%
Cheers,

Troy, have you ever considered designing custom or modified drivers? I've seen you create custom diaphragms for drivers, just wondering if you could modify the exits of existing compression drivers, to fit your es curve, for better synergy with your horns.
I've done a fair bit of modification to compression drivers to make them more suitable for home use. But I only do it if it is required. I don't plan on making custom drivers because certain manufacturers already make drivers that meet my performance target.
Hmmm... hi! Nice to see the dome without the phase plug.
I read all and then jumped to the Axi 2050. I was deluded that you used the same biradial horn, those lips!
So while reading the review I was thinking that probably something that fits better Is desirable, as written in the end(bigger). Well, the woofers with those truncated cuboid pyramid in front are not very attractive, I mean, those speakers are a fantastic piece of aesthetic, but...Sorry...
