I have a resistor I've pulled from an amplifier. It's a flat blue colour, looks like a carbon film, is 10mm long from end cap to end cap and is ~3.5 to 4mm wide on the body between end caps.
Has anyone a guess what wattage rating this resistor would have? I'm ok if it's 1W or less. TIA.

1cm long seems pretty small , I have some of those old tubular resistors with the endcaps that are 3 + inches long , I would say that it is probably 1w or less , maybe 1/2 watt ..... these resistors seem to drift in value quite a bit when they get hot ......

Thanks, Minion. It's a resistor that connects the plate of an EL34 to G2, the middle grid. I've put a 0.75W resistor in its place.
