I've heard a lot of people slag off this chip. I use a DCX and wondered if there is a pin compatible replacement that will work? How about the CS8427? It has no SRC but I think the DCX uses that?

Let me update that question having read a bit more. Is the CS8416 a pin-pin replacement in the DCX for the CS8420?
