Replacing - upgrading tweeters in Infinity IL30 speakers

I got a pair of Infinity IL30 speakers from a friend who no longer wants them. I discovered why when I checked out the drivers.

One tweeter has a small dent in it, not sure if I can get it popped back out and functional. Haven't tried yet. But the other one is cracked right down the middle. Not sure how, with that little plastic guard in front of them, and the woofers are fine.

Anyway, I found a few places selling replacements, but thought this might be a good time to upgrade them? I know you can't just slap anything you feel like in there and expect it work great, so figured I'd ask here.

This is the stock tweeter. Infinity IL10, IL25c, IL30, IL36c, IL40 Intermezzo Tweeter 335225-003 - Speaker Exchange

Still searching for the full specs on that driver.

did you ever find a replacement tweeter?
I picked up a set of Infinity IL30 speakers. Brought them home and they are all bass! Both tweeters are not working. THe infinity replacements are kind of spendy and i cant find a cheapo $15 tweeter to drop in. These weird covers kind of limit the options.

No need I have seen these paired terminal systems (upscale!) with the jumpers gone due to bi-wiring having been effected. I brought it up because when I looked at the google images of the speaker someone else's tweeter issue -no output - took over my "brain."
