replacement monitor for lilliput 7"

Hi, I am new to this forum. after browsering thsi forum, I am very interested in ACE's plan. However the lilliput 7" LCD is kind of expensive... is there a reasonable priced replacement available?

anyway, are these LCDs good?

That is quite similar as the one I am using. It will work fine for movies or tv, but not for displaying a computer desktop. If you have no need to project your computer screen, you're fine. Projecting a movie though from a pc's tv-out is also quite acceptable.

Resolution is low on those, so if you want high def, or DVD quality, you should at least get the lilliput XGA. I know it is expensive, but, the diff in quality is amazing.

Be patient, wait a little longer, and spend the extra money. I cannot express how important it is not to sttle for a bad resolution monitor. You will go to all the trouble for a crappy projector. Also, the lilliput you foud on ebay is not the correct one that ACE is using. Do a search on ebay for LILLIPUT XGA or LILLIPUT VGA to be sure you get the one with VGA input.
