Replacement for 2SA765 / 2SC1445 ?

Well I'm a bit confused here, having an old amplifier that I buildt with my father 20 years ago. Had a party and fried my (power) transistors 2SA765 / 2SC1445 got a few (no name) generic replacement from a friend. They al work but sound a way to hard and harch on top sczzzzcrchzz...
So I wonder if someone have a suggestion for a good soft sounding replacement for them?

Have you measured the bias of the output transistors??
It sound to me as a underbiased output stage...

Well I guess it was low bias

Anyway after a few hours on the web I found a surplus guy here that had a big box of the same sanken. Worked out great without any mods.
