regulating tube amp power supply - can i get away with a simpler CLC filtering scheme
I currently have a CLCLC PS filtering scheme that consists of 0.6uF->5H->120uF->4H->330uF delivering roughly 300V DC. This is used to power a SE-DHT amp.
If I shunt regulate the power supply with 2 stacked VR150 VR tubes, .. can I get away with a simpler CLC filter (for no other reason than I'm running out of chassis space)?
Thanks
