Hello all, I have a gently used Rega Planar 2 turntable, Grado cartridge, glass platter, somewhere in the early 1980's vintage. Far as I can tell the only thing needed is the belt drive is a little old, but still works. It has been sitting around un used might have been used 2 years tops when it was bought.
I live in Winnipeg Canada. Any idea what this thing is worth or how I could find it a new home.
Thanks in advance for any help or direction.
Cheers Ron.

Some photos, not great light but you should get the idea, hope it helps.
"A picture would be good, the right arm could easily double the value." I should be so lucky.
It might be a rb200 tonearm

Sold exactly the same one (around £50) early this year.
The arm is a Acos Lustre.
It would be nice to know is the Bias setting is working because normally the belt inside falls appart.

Not quite. That arm is an Acos alright, commonly known as an R200. A "Lustre" has a nicer pivot assembly, a bit of a step up from the R200.

But the problem is still the same the anti skate belt just breaks into pieces and there are no replacements.
Why dont you get an RB300 (with tungsten counterweight) or RB250 arm (get better counterweight) for it, off ebay. RB250 are best/easiest for modding...
