Refoam Phase Technology PC60?

First you need to find a replacement surround that would fit
your driver and with the right compliance. After that, you
can worry about installation. I did the job with neoprene
yellow glue and it worked wonderfull on a foam surround .

One must take care to leave the voice coil centered while
doing repair and not apply to much of the glue because of
looks. I use syringe with a dulled top for application.

Where can I buy surrounds?

I contacted the simplyspeakers place and they did not know where to locate a 6.5-inch surround with flat cone attachment kit for my PC60 Mark II's. My surrounds are completely disintegrated. Phase Tech will replace the woofer for $80 a piece, but I digress as there is nothing wrong with the old woofer other than they just need the proper surround kit. Replacing is a complete waste. Any other ideas? Here are my surround measurements:

OD of surround 6.25", the OD of the cone is 4.5", and the ID of the surround is about 3 13/16- ish". Any ideas? everything I find on the internet is an angled attach.

So, I am going to attempt a repair on them just for the sake of trying not to waste them and aside from saving money I may fail and just have to spend more money who knows. I am going to use this kit as the dimensions are close enough even though it is angled attach I am going to try and force it to work:

Then I am going to use this clothespin method of aligning the cone without destroying its dustcover:

I will update everyone on how this goes here in a week or so

Perfect timing! I just picked up some PC-70s, some 3ways i cant find much info on but sound amazing even with broken surrounds. I cant wait to see what happens, i am basically looking for the exact solution for my 8" woofer.

The foam layer on top looks irreplaceable... but its bad enough that I have to go in there.

Please take some pictures if possible!

Well I have a had a great success! I can tell you, they aren't much for looks though where the inner part of the surround meets the cone. From what I found too it looks like the cone is made of styrofoam and if I had cleaned off every little bit off of the styrofoam the surround kit might not have gone small enough to glue it. Still I cleaned them really good you will probably see what I am talking about when you dig in. I ended up using a bunch of rubbing alcohol to get them cleaned up in the end very carefully. Then I carefully attached the inner surround to the cone very very carefully and just eyeing what looked like an even amount on all sides. This was a pain since the surround had an angled attach type and the surround would pull up and I'd have to use my finger or screwdriver to hold them down for like 15 seconds to keep them down. After two hours I re-approached and pushed these puckered up parts down more. I wanted till the next day to do the outer part. i used that video's method I posted earlier to get the cone to a seemingly perfect middle where it didn't rub using clothespins. After applying the glue the outer part wanted to pucker up as well so since I had to buy a pack of clothespins for this I just used them to hold it down which you can see in the pics. I waited another 24 hours and excitedly hooked them up and they sound great again! I was super elated about it. Plus you are upgrading that flimsy foam surround to the tougher rubber!. I tried to retain as much of the sound dampening foam on top of the cone as possible and then re-used all of the original gaskets. Cheers 😀

Any update on how these turned out? I've just scrounged a pair of these out of our garage that have been sitting since the early 90s and they need a refoam to sound their best since one of them has several holes in its foam. I've already ordered the same kit as you did but I'd like to see how yours turned out as well if possible
