I've been reading about the reflectors, and have a couple practical questions.
1. are reflectors considerably benifitual / nessicary?

this is a practical question, do you just drill a hole and poke the lamp through (or two holes if you are using a double ended lamp)?
How do you determine how big of a reflector to use?
I think the fresnel's I'm looking at are 200mm focal length.
