Recone kit for Klipsch Promedia 2.1 sub

Hi everyone:


I've never done a refoam before. The surround on the woofer on my Klipsch Promedia 2.1 is falling apart fast. I'm considering doing a refoam myself.

How easy is this to do?

Are the different kits significantly different qualities, or are they mostly roughly the same?

Does anyone know of a kit that fits the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 sub really well?

I ended up buying a kit from Simplyspeakers.com. I watched a few refoaming videos on Youtube and it seems few people agree about how best to center the surround onto the basket.

Can someone point me to a good, easy to understand resource for that?
