Would greatly appreciate recommendations for a sub driver. I have an S400 lying around and my current Mordaunt 309 Home Sub in our muck about room is on its way out so as a quick mess about project I fancy putting a new driver in the Mordaunt enclosure and powering it with the S400. I know the enclosure is not necessarily optimal but I fancy trying it out and later on when I have more time I may spend some time on a proper install. The room will only currently accomodate a single sub - I could eventually make use of the mono / stereo options of the S400 to go for a dual sub set up but for now I'd just like a moderately priced, preferably 10" driver ( to suit the enclosure) to start playing around using the amp in mono bridged mode. Don't want to spend too much - or go too cheap, so budget for the driver ideally £50 - £120 ish.
Spec of S400 = 200 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo), 400W into 8Ω (mono)
