........when clicking on 'attached' stuff and/or loading thread page with one and FWIW I found apparently all forums/threads on Hostboard missing, so wondering if my computer's infected and AVAST isn't protecting me.

Dunno, keep getting the Oops! message moving from page to page, so what/where is the 'browser console' for me to read?

Your link on the first post (the link itself) is to a page with error 503, yet when I click on it it goes to the correct diyAudio page.
I feel it's temporary, and not unusual for cloudflare (occasionally).

This suggests that if you see the word "cloudflare" in a 503, it's a cloudflare problem not a diyAudio server problem.
CF does have some problems from time to time but they are usually very short, you know they have teams of people all over the world with pagers going off, and overall the pros outweigh the cons.

I had a few "Oops! We ran into some problems" too last Friday.
Right now there are more glitches going on, Cloudflare thinks it's on DiyA host side.

That's right. They are currently working on it and service may be intermittent while that happens.Cloudflare thinks it's on DiyA host side.
Interestingly, https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/diyaudio.com.html says it's been down for 2 hours and yet... working just fine for me here (from Australia, to the server in Texas). That would seem to suggest some kind of higher level global network issue.
Or let me guess... let's see what Linode's status page says and if there is anything about their Texas DC... https://status.linode.com/

Thanks for the reports lads! But looks like this is a Linode Texas DC issue, 3rd one in a month I think! Might be time to start looking at another DC.

Investigating - Our team is investigating a connectivity issue in our Dallas data center. During this time, users may experience connection timeouts and errors for all services deployed in this data center. Customers may also experience connectivity issues reaching Cloud Manager and the Linode API. We will share additional updates as we have more information.

FYI/FWIW, it started to 'Oops! again and it finally 'dawned' on me it only happens when I click on the 'alerts' update and coming back here before it could time out seems to have stopped it......
Getting timeout or error about 1 time in 10 for the last hour+. If they are fixing it, they aint done yet.
(Have not tracked if it is forum, network, or cloudflare.)
