Ok,
I have searched thru countless threads looking for a link to some RCA technical data on VR tubes without success. I believe my misplaced information might have come from our own "Frank"
fdegrove.
If someone could drop a link in here it would be appreciated.

Not sure exactly what you're looking for...
Here are the RCA HB3 datasheets I have:
http://www.pmillett.com/tubedata/HB-3/Thyratron_Ignitron_and_Glow_Discharge_Tubes/typeindex.html
The individual datasheets (e.g., 0A3) have some application data on them.

Pete,
Thanks for the reply.
I'm looking for a technical paper by RCA explaining the proper way to use the VR tube. It shows formulas and other useful information.
Thanks for the reply.

Sir,
Thank you very much!
You had what I was looking for in the Sylvania News Technical section papers. Silly me, I was thinking it was a RCA paper.
Thanks again.

If you look in the RCA book - RC30 - the first tube 0A2 includes a little tutorial on the matter.
