Raytheon T59248 transistor

I found a few NOS Raytheon transistors at an estate sale.
They are labeled as ts59248.
Has anyone heard of this designation style? Maybe military?

Germanium by the looks of it.

Germanium for sure.
It’s the odd nomenclature.
I’m guessing that these must have been mil spec coding for some defense application in the mid 60’s.
