This maybe along shot but I'm looking for any technical data for an "R-Type triode" most of my valve data books only go back to the 1940's
I suspect the R-type is before datasheets where invented! This entry suggests each one was different anyway, so you might have to adjust the circuit to match the particular example: R Type @ The Valve Museum
Some data here might be a starting point: https://www.electronics-notes.com/a...m-tube-thermionic-valve/r-type-valve-tube.php

Plenty on the web...
R-Type Valve: R Type Tube >> Electronics Notes
R Type @ The Valve Museum
More when you search.
Books like ''The Saga of Marconi Osram Valve'' by Barry Vyse and George Jessop
and ''History of the British Radio Valve'' by Keith Thrower, both have the Type R history and so forth.
Posts crossed, for some reason Mark's post did not appear before my response?
