As the title says: The quote button is missing in the last post of a thread. This is happening on a mobile device.
Yes it is. It is to discourage quoting of the last post which would mostly be redundant.

Feature, not a bug. Most of the time there is no need nor do you want to quote the last post, and certainly not the whole thing.
You can still quote text from the last post, just use your mouse (or fingers) to select the text you want to quote and a popup will appears saying "quote". Click on that to insert the text automatically into your post as a quote. Saves you having to delete the bits you would have otherwise had to delete.

One of the reasons diyAudio has been enjoyable for visitors to read over the last year is because the mods have collectively spent hundreds of hours going through thousands of posts manually pruning out reams of lazy and redundant last-post quotes. This feature worked very well pre-migration to help newer members think twice about lazily quoting the last post, and I'm sure will work equally well now.
We'll all benefit from the improved signal to noise ratio, be able to read threads faster, and have more time for coffee or beer as you prefer.
