It looks like a pi filter, but without the resistor values it is hard to figure out what they are doing. Fiters have a time constant of R*C, etc.

It's not a filter. C6 and R15 are the output of the redcircuits.com mini mixer circuit, and C8 is the input from the tone control circuit I used. I am just wondering if both capacitors are really needed or if just one will do the trick, perhaps C6 which, as I said, is 100uF.
