What are the logic gates used for in this circuit ?
The aim is to control a motor by using an amplified PWM signal.
What are the entrances W3 and W4 used for ? the LM7805 is a voltage regulator but why is it in this schematic ?

I don't think W3 and W4 are "entrances", it looks like they are just the +12v source and ground connections in the schematic. The LM7805 is there because U1 and U3 require +5v.
