Hey everybody! I'm new here so this might not be the correct subforum to post this in. If so let me know and I'll move the question.
So after doing some intensive google searching I've come to the conclusion that this is not necessarily a normal question but here goes:
I am looking to record myself talking when I am out at nightclubs. I have some pretty fun and wild adventures when I go out and it would be awesome to have an audio recording of them to listen to the next day. I currently have a Sennheiser ME 2 microphone (I'm thinking about switching to the MKE 2) and I've had two different audio recorders that I plug my mic into. The first one was a Zoom H1 but I found that one to be absolutely terrible as the mic plugs in to the side at a 90 degree angle making it difficult to fit into my pocket. Also, the mic kept popping out of it making me lose audio into it rendering it completely useless. This is the biggest issue with all recorders and I've found no solution to it. The next recorder that I used was the Sony ICD-PX312. This works ok but I still have the same issue with the mic falling out when I walk around sometimes.
Does anybody know of a way to secure a mic to an audio recording device to prevent if from becoming disconnected during times of movement? Also is there a specific audio recording device where the mic locks in?
Thanks in advance

Gaffer's tape. (duct tape)
Are you recording people without their consent?
Just my own opinion, but I myself do not want to be recorded. I was at a local restaurant a while back when they came to the table next to mine with a camera and a couple actors to film a commercial. I made them stop and move somewhere else, I did not want my image on TV unless they paid me. They moved.
Unauthorized recordings are eavesdropping. Better check with local authorities for legality.
