So I have already bought the TriTrix MTM TL Speaker Kit Components Kit
TriTrix MTM TL Speaker Kit Components Only Pair 300-700
And this is the box design they tell you to use
TriTrix MTM TL Knock-Down CNC Speaker Cabinet Pair 300-701
I am going to be building the box myself because it is not exactly what I need, but it is pretty close. I want to make the box a bit wider so that it is not as deep in the back, like 11" inch or so in depth. Also I'm going to be placing LED inside the box and hook them up so that they flash to the music and because of the LED's, I want to replace the two side panels with Acrylic or some other clear material and definitely trim around the speakers so that there is a ring of light around the speakers.
I know I'm going to be straying away from the ideal design, but I don't think I'm straying to far away. What do you guys think.
Also what should I do in terms of wiring because eventually I am going to set up a subwoofer. Am I going to need to think of the sub when putting together these speakers.

If you're intending to use them with a subwoofer, it might be better to use a sealed enclosure, or ported if sealed won't go deep enough. Transmission line designs are based on somewhat shaky theory; if you deviate from the original plans, you may let the magic out.
As for lighting up the insides, there's not going to be a lot to see if there's stuffing inside them. It might be easier to hide some LED strips around a removable grille frame.

Go ask curt on the PE forum he designed the tri trix. But right off the bat i would say no it would more than likely affect the TL. And having built a set for myself I do not recommend messing with the design. They sound quite nice. There is tons of info at the PE forum just search tri trix.
