Quadral site has nothing about them in their 'runout models': QUINTAS | Run-out models | quadral HiFi | Surround Speakers

It's Your Opinion after listening to them that counts, no one elses......
First listen you will be over excited and not too objective, try and 'forget' what you heard, go back to have a second listen and maybe a third.
Going by the few reviews I can find people say they are bettered by others at the same price point (am not going to quote)... which in the UK was £275, so Remember that they are 'cheap' Home Theater boxes and if you DO buy them, don't pay over the odds ie - if they are say 5 years old and in perfect condition with boxes pay no more than £75 for them.
thanks sippy . so I see they were not expensive speakers .
Do you know what kind of sound quadral speakers tipically characterized ?

Hi W.R.,
One English review described their sound as 'Plodding' - Slow and Unexciting is what Oxford Dictionary gives as a meaning.
The only other 'review' was on a German forum, they talked more about the 'cheap' (probably a far more expensive product for sale at the same price) Dali speakers the Quadral's were being 'reviewed' against.
If you can listen to them in Your home, install them and go out and do something else, you'll get over the 'Shiny New Thing Syndrome' quicker.
Once back home, switch system on and if you have a tuner, select you favourite station and do some chores.... can you live with them producing back ground noise.
Eat evening meal.
Now your relaxed, listen to a few cd's, try and get their positioning semi-dialed in to your listening position. No need for a tape measure, eye-ball mk1 is good enough 😉
And just listen as much as your time / time with them allows.
I dont know what the second hand market's like where you are, but are there any other second hand speakers available at a similar price to the Quadrals?
If there are, list them here as there are some speakers that are 'sleepers' for pittance.
