Here's the new subs going into the studio. Will be placed into the front corners just left and right of the main monitors that we built 2 summer ago.
The cabinet looks much large than it really is. It had to get tall because the triangle shape made us loose half the volume. It is right at 6cuft.
I built a pair of 15" Rythmiks last year into PVC sewer pipe like a sonotube and took them to the studio. They sounded excellent but could not quite keep up with the mains if some idiot was really cranking some hip-hop or uncompressed kick drum mic, so we decided to double up.

Fun Work !
All things appear as they should be: y'all are having a blast building speakers!
45 degree angled walls a neat idea, plus corner loading to the MAX.
I'll bet you're gald you got this project done before the central Florida summer heat starts !!

Yes, I was desperate to get done as soon as possible before the real heat shows up.
The control room is a little tight with all of the gear and console, so the least obtrusive place for them was in the corners. Unfortunately, there were some pretty effective bass traps there already, so we'll have to see what happens. We are going through the same BSS Omnidrve as the mains for xover and EQing the subs, so we are better off than someone just using the single band of parametric built into the amp. I'm sure we will have to re-tune the main monitors after it all said and done.
Here are a few shots of what the subs are augmenting below about 60Hz. In the first shot, you can see the bass trap tucked into the corner. That goes away on both sides and these fit there perfectly.
