Hi all. Don’t know if this is posted in wrong place or not.

Due to weight and needing DSP I have been looking in to inuke3000dsp to replace my QSC rmx 1450. BUT

A few concerns.

1. Sound quality difference for a 15inch sealed sub. (Class AB to class D).lower dampening factor. Built like a tank toroid Transformer to switching psu built cheap and light weight inuke..

2 heat. I actually cut the fan in the QSC and it’s fine and silent and doesn’t really get hot. Will the inuke be hot and sound like a jet. Can I mod this and make it silent.

It’s only for home music and HT use. Don’t want to regret this.

I've used the iNuke3000DSP (there is actually a newer model out now, BTW).

1. DF is not going to be an issue.
2. Yes, the fan is loud, but it can be modded (easiest way is to replace it with a quieter fan).
3. The main issues are reliability and servicing. Both of my 3000DSPs failed after just over a year of use, and there seems to be no good way to get them repaired.

I suggest looking at the Crown Drivecore2 series as other possible options.
