I have a QSC powerlight 6.0 on my bench. When I first plugged it into my Ballast lamp for a shorts test the lamp was ossilating back on and off again. Which led me to believe that there was a problem in the amp. It has a switch mode power supply and maybe it was a false indication. Because the power supply wasn't getting enough voltage due to ballast lamp. Anywho I tore apart the amp to resolder all of the pads on all boards. When I put it back together I'll see how it works . My question is : Has anyone out there incountered this problem : using a ballast lamp to trouble shoot amps with a switch mode power supply and the lamp starts to ossilate on and off. I just don't really know if I have a problem. Seeing this really confused me.
