about a year ago my Q-AV sub stopped working, it powers up and looks OK, but no sound, have changed the amp, changed the cables, definitely something in the sub not performing as it should
now, my other Q-AV sub has also stopped working, slightly different fault to the other one, as there is noise coming from it, but not of the musical kind
does anyone by chance know of someone that can fix subwoofers in the Harlow area ( or 25 miles around it ) , thanks in advance

It might be the cross over.
If the speaker is gone it is often the voice coil fried from over driving it for too long.
You could take the back off the speaker and connect the amp output directly to the speaker using croc clips to see if it is the speaker.
