Q about re-capping Linn LK-100

Hi,

I'm looking for power supply caps for this amp. They're now nearly 10 years old and I think it's time for exchange.
So far I came up with Black Gates (insanely priced here in Europe ~€300/p) and Elna Cerafines (reasonable price but unfortunately to large). I'm looking for 10,000uF/80V with a max height of 75mm.
Is there anything else you can recommend?

BC components 154 series (80 cm high screws included) are not a bad choice IMHO.

In fact you need people like Jean-Paul or Peter Daniel for this type of questions. 😉

Unfortunately to large. They must not be more than 75mm in height. Although you pointed me in the right direction. I found on the BC site the 156 series which are only 50mm in height.
Btw they are also offered with 12000uF. Does it make sense if I put slightly bigger ones in?

LK 100

Hi Tom,

I think you can use Slit-foil-Capacitors in your LK 100.
There are types 10000µF/63V. I use the same one in my LK 2.
