I recently bought a slightly used Infocus LP425z projector. It powers up and projects images. But all images have a dark purple ghost shadow around it. The background is kind of dark. I followed the manual which tells me to turn off the auto image and turn it back on. It does not make much difference. I played around manual tracking and sync and that does not help neither. I also used the reset all and nothing much changed.
Does this mean that sending the project to the repair shop is the only option? Anyone has the similar experience? If I know the cause I should be able to fix it myself. This is a very slightly used projector (only 14 hrs on the lamp). It must be caused by a defect component.
