Punch 200IX restore

I am looking to repaint the heatsink on a punch 200 DSM IX. I am used to seeing heatsink compound and a thin aluminum thermal insulator strip on under the transistors. Now all I see is a strip of tape. is there anything I can do to replace this tape or where can i find it? I dont even know what it is but I am guessing it transfers heat.

Hi Perry. I have sandblasted the heatsink and painted it. I am about to reassemble the amp. So do i just use thermal paste and clamp the transistors directly to the heatsink with paste and ditch the thin tape film? I am
Just so confused as the older amps had a thin aluminum strip
and these newer ones dont.
