Good night I am currently trying to build a super scoop. I have the plans but want to know how do I straighten the horn out to make sure my Hornresp spec will work with this design.
Most horns are designed with a specific driver because not all drivers work well in a horn. What driver are you trying to use?
This should give you some insight:...how do I straighten the horn out to make sure my Hornresp spec will work...

I think he is talking about te classic design used with reggae soundsystems, wich is the Mogale Supescoop with the Precision Devices PD.1850. If it's not the case, he should specify more about what he is talking...
Waxx you are correct. I am using 18sound 21lw1400. And I want to design the super scoop around that speaker.

A scoop is basicly a backloaded horn for a woofer or subwoofer. I’mnot an expert in this, but with hornresp younshould be able to design one...
I have hornresp. And I came up with something I was just trying to figure out how I can incorporate the date into the super scoop plans.

Have you read the "Database Simulation" thread on SpeakerPlans?
The main Hornresp input parameters for the 21" Superscoop have already been worked out and posted: Database simulation - Speakerplans.com Forums - Page 2
Even if your version is a bit different, you should be able to see how the various elements of the scoop are represented in the program.

David.
