PSU in a seperate enclosure?

Hi, just a quick question, is there any disdvantage to having a PSU (toroids, caps and rectifiers) in a seperate enclosure to something like a 41hz amp8 kit?

Not that I can think of: most of have plenty of C on board to give low power supply impedance. If you will take large PSU caps off the board to save space, best to put something smaller in their place though, in addition.
