Hello,
I am having a couple of problems with my projector. First of all I cannot get any video when using a standalone progressive scan DVD player using a componet to VGA connector. I noticed that it only works on the VGA port if the computer is putting out exactly 800x600. If I change to any other resolution I get zilch..up or down. My projector does not seem to auto sync to any other resolution and was wondering if there was a workaround or hardware device I would need. My projector has a Sync command but it does not seem to do anything.
Also..my colors on the screen are all washed out and it does not look anything like the colors that are being displayed on my laptop at the sametime. I have quite a bit of dust in the optic system but getting into this projector is like Fort Knox so I do not know if that could be some of the problem or is just a sign the bulb is near the end of its life? Its a 250 metal halide lamp and I am usure of total hours. Any help or input would be appreciated.
Thanks
