I suggest you have a moderator remove the hyphen from your username if possible. You may even need to change your username entirely if no reasonable variant is available. The current forum software doesn't seem to do well with a hyphen in the username for some reason.

I've had the user name since 2007....Kinda disappointing that I now have to change it. How do I go about that ?

Well, the easiest option is to hit the little red triangle icon to 'report' a post in this thread and ask. The moderation team will see a notification and respond to your request. You can then work with them to sort out the username issue. I hope that helps.

OK, this is not straightforward as stevenh already exists. Yes, the hyphen is the problem so if you can come up with another name, I will change it.

The alternative is that is the "other" member's name hasn't been logged into > 5 years or has never been used to post, we could change the "other" member's name.

Thanks for the help. When I registered I had tried 'SteveH', 'StevenH', etc. Regardless, I can receive PM's and post....So I'm going to leave well enough alone, and hope that sometime in the future new software will fix the issue.
