Hello,
I was having troubles with building a rat clone as you can see here:
Proco RAT Clone doesn't work
The problem was fake LM308.
So I rebuild the circuit with what I had and I made some mods. I'm pretty sure all these mods have been done by others too.
So I am posting the schematic!

Which eBay rat was the fake LM308 from?
I bought them from banzaimusic.
LM308N :: LF LM Types :: Chips, ICs, OpAmps :: Semiconductors :: Electronic Parts :: Banzai Music GmbH
To be fair, they did refund the purchase price eventually, and just to give them the benefit of the doubt, it is quite possible they had no idea the LM308s were defective. Most vendors don't test the components they get from their suppliers - there's little enough profit margin in selling a $3 part in the first place, never mind the additional cost of testing.Which eBay rat was the fake LM308 from?
