hey guys, someone know if is possible to convert Coaxial Cable input to S-Video Input?

i mean, my sony TV dont work. i just can connect stuff to the S-Video Input. if i connect any stuff to the Coaxial Input or RCA Input (A/V), the image is without color and flick. if i connect for example an DVD using the s-video it works perfectly. so i want to watch my "coaxial cable channels" but just can connect it to my S-Video, someone know if its possible?

thanks 😀

hope someone understand me (my english sux)

hmm sound like your TV is not the same system as your cable provider. There are 2 main systems - PAL and NTSC. NTSC is mostly in north america, and in japan if im not mistaken. And Pal is pretty much everywhere else (theres a system very similar to it, SECAM, its somewhere out there too...)

thanks for answer me, but ur wrong, thats not the problems.
it was working in the past. Now dont work for PSX, VHS, Cable.. everything that i connect to the RCA or CABLE Input dont work.

Just work all that i connect to svideo 🙁

hmm.. it really does sound like a pal/ntsc problem. Is your tv multi system? cuz if so, maybe your tv's Format autodetect is broken. I dont know much about TVs... You could pass everything through a computer, you'll need a TV tuner, and a video card with s-video TV out. Thus - everything through s-video. Have you called sony?
