Hi, been watching the site on and off for ages but never taken the plunge into construction due to the lack of time. However I've managed to pickup some ProAc D28 cabinets but they are totaly bare and figured they are a great way to get started.

I'd idealy like to get these up and running with the minimal of work as I'm still very tight for spare time. So I'm looking for the driver info, the crossover info and the port length. Any information on where to located the parts would be a great help too.

Many thanks.

As far as i know, Proac have used both Scan-Speak and Seas sourced units, but i think they are OEM's so the excact ones might not be avaliable. The tweeter looks like its based on the olf Vifa Ring Radiator sized chassis but the bass driver could be seas, coated paper cone, or an OEM from volt.

THere are some detailed measuments on the Stereophile review page as well

Just found this in the review -

"The drivers are the same as were used in the D25: a 6.5" coated polypropylene-cone woofer with die-cast basket that's built in the UK by Volt (a well-known maker of pro-audio drivers) to ProAc's specifications, and a modified 1" silk-dome tweeter from Tymphany (who bought Vifa/Scan-Speak) that features internal damping, air cooling, and an unusually large surround similar to those used in Scan-Speak's ring-radiator drivers."
