I am just wondering if the Scan-Speak 18W/8535 used in the ProAc 2.5 can be substituted by a pair of 18S/8535. This is the shielded version of the 8535. Their specs are exactly the same except for the following:
Electrical Q-factor, Qes : 18S is 0.47, 18W is 0.45
Total Q-factor, Qts : 18S is 0.40, 18W is 0.38
Weight: 18S is 2.5 kg, 18W is 1.8 kg.
Does anyone know what these specs mean? I'm very inexperienced, so I don't know whether the difference is significant.
Thank you.
